The musical project LABRADOR was formed in Copenhagen in 2000 by Flemming Borby.
Called after the country north of Canada, where only the Denmark Street divides Greenland and Alaska. ....
Till now the project has generated 4 full length albums and an EP.. ..
This very EP was released recently (summer 2010) in Germany and Denmark...
It as produced in collaboration with Martin Wenk from the American band CALEXICO, and lovely Ali Howard from the great london-band LUCKY SOUL appears guestvocalist.....
The 4th album "THIS TIME" was released digitally in Denmark and Germany November, 2011 and will be released physically 20th of January 2012.
The new album gives a change in the normal Labrador-sound. It is produced by Danish psychedelic master Johnny Stage, and draws lots of inspiration from producers as Joe Meek and Brian Wilson.
All Labrador-albums were released in Germany, Denmark and Japan, and you can find Labrador-songs on samplers from all over the world...
Labrador and Flemming Borby did altogether around 200 shows in Denmark, France, Japan, UK, Germany and USA...
Since 2007, Flemming Borby has been living in Berlin, Germany.
